My name is Sylvia, and I’m the creative force behind À La Carte Paperie - where thoughtful design meets big feelings (and truly excellent paper). If you’re beginning the beautiful, slightly surreal journey toward marriage, congratulations! I’m genuinely thrilled for you, and I’d be honored to help tell your love story through stationery that feels personal, meaningful, and unmistakably you.

 

À La Carte Paperie is more than a stationery shop. It’s a boutique design studio rooted in craftsmanship, personal service, and refined design with heart. Since 2009, I’ve had the joy of designing wedding invitations for couples around the world. For decades, I’ve worked exclusively with some of the best printing labs in the industry, partners who care as deeply about quality as I do. Together, we use beautiful papers, rich inks, and meticulous production standards to ensure every piece looks and feels exceptional, from the first proof to the final print.

Originally from Europe, I bring a deep love of art, culture, and beautiful details to everything I create. I studied classical art and archaeology in Switzerland, and I’m endlessly inspired by typography with personality, illustrations that quietly tell a story, patterns that work in quiet harmony, and textures you can’t help but touch. Add to that my other great passions: good food, great wine, bold Italian espresso, and yes, I even hold sommelier certification, because pairing things beautifully is clearly a lifelong theme.

 

Outside the studio, I’m also the proud mother of two exceptionally wonderful girls (I may be biased, but I stand by it). All of this life, movement, and storytelling finds its way into my work, because the best design always comes from a well-lived life.

My goal is simple: to create stylish, distinctive stationery that celebrates your story, complements your celebration, and feels completely authentic. Just as important, I want the process to feel easy, supportive, and genuinely fun from start to finish, because planning a wedding should include moments of delight, not stress.
