Ordering Process

1. Select your invitation suite
   Choose your quantity and paper type. We recommend ordering 10–15% extra for last-minute additions and keepsakes.

• Minimum order: 25 cards

• Pre-designed cards and sets are available in increments of 25

• U.S. customers may request quantities in increments of 5 by contacting us for a custom invoice

1. Submit your details
   Provide your exact wording, color preferences, and any additional details. Please use standard capitalization (not all uppercase).

2. Pay any additional design fees
   Custom illustrations, font changes, multiple color revisions, foreign language typesetting, and other custom requests must be paid in advance.

3. Custom illustration requirements
   For custom artwork, please provide one clear, high-resolution image per illustration. Artwork is created based on the approved reference image, and changes requiring a new direction may incur additional fees.

Please ensure your photo shows the correct perspective and proportions, as we cannot alter angles or viewpoints.

1. Complete your suite
   Select any additional stationery pieces you need and complete your purchase.

• You'll receive your first digital proof in 2-5 business days after payment and all wording, instruction, and photo(s)

(if applicable) received.

•  There are two minor revision rounds included, conditions apply. Additional proofs will be charged $40 each.

• All proofing is done via digital files sent to your email address.

Please note that texture is not showing on the digital proofs and as the proofs are not actual photographs of your final product, therefore a slight difference is expected due to the paper stock.

You, the client is responsible for...

 

• Supplying text that is without mistakes.

• Ensuring that any supplied images do not conflict with copyright laws.

• Checking proofs for text errors or incorrect images.

• Order invitations in time: give yourself plenty of time to order wedding invitations. You should order invitations 3-4 months before the wedding. You will want to have them assembled and addressed in time to send them 6-8 weeks before the wedding (even more for a destination wedding). A la Carte would not take responsibility for late orders.

 

•  Once you are 100% happy with your design, you need to approve your design. 

Orders enter the print production queue after your final approval.

• We print your cards in 3-10 business days after final approval.

For semi-custom and full custom suites, please allow an additional 3-10 business days.

If you opt for envelope printing and liners, please allow an additional 3-8 business days.

Any dates quoted for delivery of orders are approximate only. A la Carte Paperie is not liable for orders received late and any possible delay in delivery of your order.
