At our studio, we genuinely love creating distinctive invitations and enthusiastically welcome custom design projects. Our aim is simple: to turn your ideas, whether fully formed or just rough sketches, into beautiful pieces that reflect your style, personality, and story. If nothing in our pre-designed collection feels quite right, we’re happy to work closely with you to create something entirely bespoke. Whether you arrive with a clear vision or are looking for inspiration, we’ll collaborate with you to develop a design that feels perfectly you.
We also offer a selection of previously completed custom invitation suites, available for purchase as-is. Choosing one of these designs means no additional design fees, making it a thoughtful and cost-effective option.

If you’re on a tight budget and timeline we suggest choosing one of our ready-made templates.
ESTIMATE and PAYMENT
We kindly ask that a 50% deposit of the full design fee and 50% of the product cost be paid in advance before we begin working on your stationery.
The remaining balance is due prior to production.
Please note that the final total may be adjusted if additional embellishments, upgrades, or extra sets are added to your order.
PROOFING & PRODUCTION
The first proof will be emailed to you within 5 business days. You are entitled as many revisions as needed to ensure that everything meets your exact specifications. Once you are satisfied with the design and have confirmed that every detail is perfect, including wording, layouts, color, and design, and have given written approval, your custom product will go into production.
The production timeline for printing typically ranges from 5 to 25 business days.

REQUIREMENTS for custom illustrations:
All our work is produced and designed in house. Our illustration process involves creating a hand-drawn sketch on a tablet using a drawing software and then work on digitizing this on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
To create your unique custom artwork, we kindly ask you to provide us with a high-quality photograph that will serve as the foundation for your illustration. We aim to capture your vision accurately with the first sample we produce. It’s important to know that additional design fees will be incurred if you submit new reference photos after receiving the initial artwork sample, which necessitates a change in design direction. Due to the specialized nature of this artwork and the time required for its creation, we will be working with **ONE** chosen image only. Once we deliver your proof, we cannot recreate or adjust the artwork using a second photograph. To avoid confusion, please send the photo you wish us to use before we begin the creative process. If you decide to provide multiple images for us to choose from, please keep in mind that we will select the most appropriate one, and this selection will be final after delivering the proof.
For each illustration, it's essential that you provide **ONE** clear, high-resolution image of the subject. This photo should represent the subject well, as we cannot modify the perspective or proportions of the venue, landscape, or any other depicted element. Therefore, please choose a photo that aligns with these requirements to ensure the best possible outcome for your artwork.
We can also add embellishments such as trees, bushes, and floral details to produce unique artwork for your invitations.
Policies
COPYRIGHTS:
A la Carte Paperie retains all copyrights of our artwork and may use any of it for marketing and promotional purposes.
We grant the client one-time use of the designs for their special event. Credit to A la Carte Paperie should accompany the designs when photos of the final product are published online or in print.
CLIENT ERROR REFUNDS:
Refunds and/or complimentary reprints are not offered for client errors. A la Carte Paperie will make the desired changes and reprint the original order at cost for each reprinted item.
